Scamps & Champs Support Charity Cause

We recently celebrated the launch of our Macclesfield franchise by sponsoring a kennel for 12 months through the Many Tears Rescue Centre. Raffy, a Westie, was sponsored and the money was supposed to go towards her care for the next 12 months. However, Lesley Regan, our Founder, was so smitten with her that she has adopted her and she now lives in their family home! Raffy has never lived in a house or known love and it is thought that food has been scarce for her so Lesley couldn’t wait to take her in and give her the forever home she had been looking for.

The Many Tears Rescue Centre rescue ex breeding dogs who are no longer required, dogs who are on ‘death row’ in dog pounds and those whose owners are no longer able to keep them. These dogs live in foster homes around the UK while they wait for a new owner who will care for them and help them to get the most out of their new lives. The dogs often need special care and attention to help them get used to life in the home and it is due to kind sponsors such as Scamps and Champs that they are able to do so. The money that we have donated will help other dogs who go into the rescue centre while they wait to go into their foster homes.

We provide a wide range of pet services to the local community. From dog walking to home boarding and pet sitting, our franchisees provide flexible or occasional services to suit their customer’s needs. Our franchise can provide a full-time or part-time income depending on your own goals and desires, whether you want to take on the work yourself or employ a full team to help you scale the business up and become even more profitable. Scamps & Champs is a business that will fit around your lifestyle to help you achieve a better work-life balance whilst building a career you can enjoy.

“The Many Tears Rescue Centre is such a great cause and we thought it would be a great boost to our franchise network if we sponsor a dog every time we open a new franchise. As soon as I saw the picture of Raffy on Facebook I was just smitten. I knew that I had to take her home with me and she has now been living with us for just over a week and has settled in brilliantly. Sponsoring causes such as these helps our franchisees to show that our brand is dedicated to not only looking after the dogs we are asked to take care of, but those who may not have had the best start in life. It also helps us to get our brand name out there and make sure that recognition of what we do is wide spread across the UK,” explains Lesley.
