This would ideally suit someone retired looking for some extra income, a stay at home Mum with children at school or someone already self employed. The applicant should love dogs and animals, the outdoors and walking, have experience of pet care or working with animals or have owned your own dog. You would need to be available from 10.00am until 3.00pm Monday to Friday to cover for holidays, sickness and exceptionally busy periods with occasional weekends.

Work will involve collecting dogs from clients homes, travelling to safe open spaces, walking in a small group with no more than 4 dogs, ensuring that the dogs are safe, meeting clients before an assignment, logging onto our online diary to view your schedule.

This is a self employed position meaning you would be responsible for your own accounts, tax and national insurance contributions. In line with this the position is flexible and you can control when and how you work.

Extra work may also be available with house sitting, pet sitting and boarding dogs.

You will need to have your own vehicle and access to the internet. and must be willing to be DBS checked.   *DBS check not applicable to the Ireland (West) branch.

This usually leads to permanent work.
